The master's thesis addresses the problem of psychological separation from parents during early adulthood. A theoretical analysis of scientific approaches to understanding the separation phenomenon was conducted, defining its age-related features, structure, and influencing factors. Attention is focused on the gender, family-role, and cultural-ethnopsychological determinants of personality autonomy formation. The level of psychological separation in young adults was empirically studied, and the interconnection between the level of autonomy, attachment style, and codependent tendencies in relationships with parents was determined. A psychocorrection program was developed and tested for forming autonomy and effective separation in early adulthood.
