The master's thesis analyses the psychology of male perception of the world and outlines the gender dominance of men in literature of the 19th–21st centuries. An attempt is also made to explore the typology of male characters in literature from different historical periods and to outline key models of male identity in prose and poetry. Based on this literary analysis, the dominant types of men in the works of A. Lyubka are identified, in particular in the poetry collection «Eight Months of Schizophrenia», the collection of short stories «Killer+», and the novel «MUR».
In addition, a comparative analysis of the ways in which male characters are represented has been carried out, revealing the evolution of types in A. Lyubka's poetic and prose works. The writer creates a multidimensional image of a modern man who is constantly searching for the meaning of life, the boundary between the rational and the emotional, the desire for harmony and inner emptiness.
In A. Lyubka's work, masculinity appears as an open, dynamic category that combines irony and tragedy, social activism and introspection. A general overview of the writer's creative work is outlined, and a description of the dominant male images in the writer's work as a whole is provided. Various types of relationships between the main character and other feminine and masculine characters are characterized, and the peculiarities of their interactions are revealed.
У кваліфікаційній роботі проаналізовано психологію чоловічого сприйняття світу, окреслено джендерну домінанту чоловіка в літературі ХІХ–ХХІ століть. Досліджено типологію чоловічої статі в літературі різних історичних епох, окреслено ключові моделі чоловічої ідентичності у прозі та ліриці. На основі такого літературного аналізу виокремлено домінантні типи чоловіка у творчості А. Любки, зокрема у поетичній збірці «Вісім місяців шизофренії», збірці оповідань «Кілер+» і романі «МУР». Здійснено загальний огляд творчого доробку письменника та надано характеристику домінантних образів чоловіка у творчості письменника загалом. Схарактеризовано різні види стосунків між головним героєм й іншими фемінними та маскулінними персонажами, а також розкрито особливості їхніх взаємин.
