У роботі аналізуються процеси інтеграції автономного політичного утворення Гетьманщини до складу Російської імперії. У роботі розкрито політичні, адміністративні, військові та соціально-економічні аспекти московської експансії, а також охарактеризовано трансформації української автономії в умовах зростаючого імперського тиску. Особлива увага приділяється аналізу взаємовідносин московської влади з українською політичною елітою, а також впливу цих процесів на суспільство регіону.
Дослідження має як теоретичне, так і практичне значення. Воно доповнює наукову базу з історії українсько-російських відносин, сприяє формуванню історичної пам’яті, а також може бути використане у навчальному процесі, культурних проєктах та сучасному політичному дискурсі.
The work analyzes the processes of integration of the autonomous political formation of the Hetmanate into the Russian Empire. The work reveals the political, administrative, military and socio-economic aspects of Moscow's expansion, and also characterizes the transformation of Ukrainian autonomy in the face of growing imperial pressure. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the relationship between the Moscow authorities and the Ukrainian political elite, as well as the impact of these processes on the society of the region.
The study has both theoretical and practical significance. It supplements the scientific base on the history of Ukrainian-Russian relations, contributes to the formation of historical memory, and can also be used in the educational process, cultural projects and modern political discourse.
