Об’єкт дослідження: процес розвитку міжнародної торгівлі як складової частини світової економіки.
Методи дослідження: історико-аналітичний метод, метод порівняльного аналізу, системний підхід, методи узагальнення та класифікації.
Основні результати дослідження: визначено ключові етапи розвитку міжнародної торгівлі, виявлено історичні чинники, що впливали на формування сучасної світової торговельної системи, проаналізовано трансформацію форм і механізмів торгівлі протягом різних історичних періодів.
Новизна роботи: систематизовано історичні підходи до аналізу міжнародної торгівлі та виявлено зв’язок між історичними подіями та сучасними торговельними процесами.

Object of research: the process of development of international trade as an integral part of the world economy.

Main results of the study: the key stages of international trade development are identified, historical factors that influenced the formation of the modern world trading system are revealed, the transformation of forms and mechanisms of trade during different historical periods is analyzed.
Novelty of the work: historical approaches to the analysis of international trade are systematized and the connection between historical events and modern trade processes is revealed.
