Художній дискурс мовчання у прозових творах Марії Матіос («Солодка Даруся», «Мами», «Щоденник страченої»).

Abstract

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена детальному розгляду функціонування концепту мовчання в художньому дискурсі прозових творів «Солодка Даруся», «Мами», «Щоденник страченої» Марії Матіос. Проаналізовано основні теоретичні засади обґрунтування концепту мовчання в науковій думці крізь призму історичного дискурсу та сучасної української літератури. Розтлумачено поняття мовчання (homo silentio), тиші (natural silentio), божественного мовчання (divine silentio), феномена материнства, самотности, співзалежних взаємостосунків, посттравматичного стресового розладу (ПТСР). Окреслено полісемантичні групи вияву концепту мовчання як невербального комуніканта у текстовій парадигмі прозових творів М. Матіос.

The master’s thesis offers a detailed examination of how the concept of silence functions within the artistic discourse of Maria Matios’s prose works Sweet Darusia, Mothers, and Diary of an Executed Woman. The investigation outlines the main theoretical foundations for interpreting the concept of silence in scholarly thought (religious studies, psychology, philosophy) through the prism of historical discourse – from the period of Kyivan Rus (9th century) to Ukraine’s declaration of independence (20th century) and contemporary Ukrainian literature. The study clarifies the notions of silence (homo silentio), quietness (natural silentio) and divine silence (divine silentio). The research also focuses on revealing the psychophysiological phenomenon of motherhood, loneliness as a socio-psychological condition, codependent relationships as a form of “self-destruction”, hidden psychological trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a psychoneurotic state triggered by extreme or life-threatening events (wars, acts of violence, accidents, natural disasters, catastrophes, physical injuries, witnessing the death of relatives or acquaintances, etc.). The investigation examines the typological classification of mothers in the context of the contemporary war and outlines the main theoretical approaches to interpreting the phenomenon of motherhood. It traces the evolutionary development of the notion of loneliness and identifies various classifications of its types. The research identifies the polysemantic groups through which the concept of silence emerges as a nonverbal communicator within the textual paradigm of Matios’s prose. The investigation reveals the recurrence of historical events depicted in the prose, particularly the violent actions committed by totalitarian Russia against Ukrainian civilians during the ongoing Russian–Ukrainian war.
