This work is devoted to a detailed study of patent documents, their structure, content, as well as the processes of patent protection and commercialization. The definition and purpose of patent documents, their main types, as well as the procedure for obtaining a patent are considered. The author analyzes why patents are important in the protection of intellectual property, emphasizing their role in stimulating innovation. Particular attention is paid to the structure and content of a patent document, in particular, the title, description of the invention, claims and abstract.
