Палестино-ізраїльський конфлікт залишається малодослідженим в українській історіографії, особливо щодо його сприйняття в незалежній Україні. Лише з 1991 до 2024 року з’явилися перші дослідження, проте сучасна робота вирізняється ґрунтовністю аналізу. Використано міждисциплінарний підхід, що охоплює політичну історію, міжнародні відносини, релігійні аспекти та суспільну думку.
Дослідження охоплює витоки конфлікту, формування єврейської та арабської державностей у Палестині, переселення євреїв у XX столітті, арабо-ізраїльські війни, а також події 2023 року. Особливу увагу приділено політиці СРСР і УРСР на Близькому Сході. Розглянуто погляди незалежної України на конфлікт, вплив внутрішніх і зовнішніх факторів на державну політику, а також зміну громадської думки після російсько-української війни 2022 року. У підсумку показано трансформацію українського підходу до конфлікту та його значення для розвитку української близькосхідної політики.
The Palestinian-Israeli conflict remains under-researched in Ukrainian historiography, especially in terms of its perception in independent Ukraine. It was only from 1991 to 2024 that the first studies appeared, but the current work is distinguished by its thoroughness of analysis. It uses an interdisciplinary approach, covering political history, international relations, religious aspects, and public opinion.
The study covers the origins of the conflict, the formation of Jewish and Arab statehood in Palestine, the resettlement of Jews in the 20th century, the Arab-Israeli wars, and the events of 2023. Particular attention is paid to the policies of the USSR and the Ukrainian SSR in the Middle East. The author examines the views of independent Ukraine on the conflict, the impact of internal and external factors on state policy, and the change in public opinion after the Russian-Ukrainian war of 2022. As a result, the author shows the transformation of the Ukrainian approach to the conflict and its significance for the development of Ukrainian Middle East policy.
